Margaret Helena (zippymiggy), is a Chicago-based, self-taught photographer, director, musician, and model. With a BA in Journalism Advertising and a minor in Media Art from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, Maggie works to communicate visuals and art in a way that leaves the viewer transfixed.
She began photographing concerts with Off the Record Press and later entered the commercial photography world through an internship with Steven Piper. She works as a freelance photo/production assistant with SGK Inc. and other photographers around the city.
Alongside photography, Maggie works as an independent model in fashion and editorial storytelling, drawn to strong design and display.
Lately, she has been studying her voice and learning piano.
She is also building In Between — a space for artists to gather, where image, sound, and memory meet.
